3/4 Girls

Grade 3 and Grade 4 Program Details

Girls in these grade levels will be placed on evenly balanced teams based on their abilities. New players will be introduced to the sport of lacrosse while returning players will continue to strengthen the basic skills of cradling, groundball pickups, throwing and catching.
At this level further emphasis is placed on skill development, the importance of teamwork as well as establishing a greater understanding of player conduct on and off the field.
Practice for the 3/4 teams will be held two nights a week for 1 hour and 30 minutes with games on Saturday mornings or afternoons and possibly Sundays. Our CYL 3/4 teams compete in the PAGLA South league and games are scheduled with regional PAGLA lacrosse programs. Games are played on a modified field 7 v 7 format with goalies being introduced.

Any female who is currently enrolled in 3rd and 4th grade and who resides in the Coatesville Area School District, attends Collegium or Avon Grove Charter, Pope John Paul, Octorara or does not have access to a community lacrosse league may join CYL.

The 2017 Spring Season begins in March and continues through to the end of May.
